Muriele Allexandre

Muriele is a French born singer singing a selection of nostalgic songs from 1920’s onwards.  She has been singing for years at a variety of venues including recently with internationally renowned Gypsy jazz violinist, Adrien Chevalier.  She has been featured on BBC1 and Channel 4 as part of the NHS clapping and birthday celebrations. She was also featured in the Hampshire Chronicle.  In addition, to singing all of the French chansons including Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet, Serge Gainsbourg, Charles Aznavour and many more, she also sings the American jazz standards.  She regularly performs with her band, Joie de Vivre. When you hear her sing, you will be transported to the Paris of yesteryear. Muriele feels this music deeply within her soul and you will experience that magic connection when you watch Joie de Vivre live.

Dominic Beeton

Dominic is the keyboard player of Joie de Vivre.  Dominic is an experienced pianist who has been playing in jazz bands for the last 20 years. Dominic has been a Franco-phile since he first visited Granville, Normandy at the age of 8.  So working with Muriele and playing French songs is a dream come true for Dominic.  He has a strong affinity for the sheer romance and passion found in the French classic songbook as it mirrors his own piano compositions in terms of their strong emotional content.
